One BIG 'Ol Family! | Seattle Family Kids Photographer

Sunday, April 18, 2010

Today I had the pleasure of photographing two of my dear friend's family. It was so great to see them again. We all met as runners and ran a few marathons together back in the day. Even though we all live in different states now, we are still close friends. I loved seeing their fun, crazy family all get together. Lots of laughs and smiles. What a great way to spend the morning! Here are a few from today's session.

I just LOVE having two built in models for me in my son and my niece. They are 3 months apart in age yet Logan, the younger, I think out weighs Marley! Take a look at these cuties.

Not Your Average Bat Mitzvah

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Oh what a wonderful day! I had the honor of photographing my friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah. I had no idea what to expect. I was in awe of everything. I often found myself just listening and watching the service and then I had to remind myself that I was there for a job!

I love working with this family. This is the second time I've had the pleasure of taking photographs for them and I can't tell you how much FUN I have with them! They are so light-hearted and FUNNY! They were game for any poses I had in mind. And just look at how gorgeous the little Bat Mitzvah girl is! She could be a model. Thank you again for letting me be a part of your special day!

This temple is absolutely breathtaking.

Taking a break before the action starts. She looks like she should be in the pages of a magazine, don't you think? BEAUTIFUL

Believe it or not, this was NOT one of my pose suggestions! They thought of it on their own! So cute.

Teenagers...

Holding the Torah. Isn't it beautiful?

She was so good at reading the Torah, I was totally impressed! She's only 12!

Again, I was in awe at how beautiful it was.

Sigh. Breathtaking beauty.

Sigh, sigh. TWO breathtakingly beautiful women!

Here she is in action with the Rabbi.

Taking a short break during the service. I love how her feet don't touch the ground yet. A reminder of how old she really is even if she holds herself years beyond.

Blowing off some stem...or bubbles after the service.

Celebrating with her friends. Congratulations young lady!

Mother's Day Special

Friday, March 26, 2010

This is my mom. I love her. :)

Mother's Day is just around the corner! One thing I cherish most in my life is my children. Obviously, right?! LOL Most moms do too. Why not capture them in photos then? Imagine her joy when she unwraps a beautiful photo book of her children. Or perhaps you present her with a large canvas gallery wrap to hang on the wall.

I'm booking now for Mother's Day sessions. If you book a session by April 25th you'll receive 20% off the session fee. I look forward to working with you!

8 Days Beautiful | Newborn Photographer Seattle Area

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Today I photographed this little beauty. She had the softest hair and was such a sweet little girl. I loved cuddling her. Sometimes I like when they cry because I get to hold and rock them back to sleep. :) Here's a sneak peek!

Oh how I love a newborn! This little guy was 12 days old and had the cutest lips. He was so small and sweet and slept like a champ! I had so much fun with this little guy! I can't wait to watch him grow up with his proud Mama and Dada!

It's Fun To Be One! | Baby Photographer Seattle Area

Friday, March 19, 2010

I had SO much fun following little Kyler around yesterday! He turned one a couple of weeks ago. He was so happy and cooperative. He loved to look at me and make the raspberry sound. I tried to do it back to him but he only looked at me with a blank expression as if to say, "Is that your best try?" He's already up and walking around so it was fun to follow his little toddling body around the house.
